Nakaya & Co. is honoured to have been invited to craft the brand visual identity for Watch Armour. As a brand specialising in customised high-end watch protection films, Watch Armour has earned the admiration of watch enthusiasts through its exceptional craftsmanship and premium materials. After in-depth discussions with the brand team, we understood their desire to project a subtle yet luxurious brand image—one that embodies sophistication while resonating with an elite clientele.
During the design process, we proposed a Black on Black concept—an approach rarely explored by brands but one that exudes an undeniable sense of refinement. We opted for a matte black base, complemented by gloss black printing techniques to create a subtle interplay of light and shadow, enhancing depth while maintaining understated elegance. This design not only aligns with the aesthetic preferences of the luxury watch market but also reflects Watch Armour’s commitment to meticulous detail and superior quality.
Additionally, we carefully integrated the brand’s logo into the design using a cut-out technique, allowing it to subtly emerge and recede depending on the angle of light. This distinctive effect reinforces brand recognition while maintaining a sleek and sophisticated appearance, ensuring Watch Armour’s packaging makes a lasting impression.
