Nakaya & Co. is honoured to have been invited to upgrade the brand identity of Thong Kee, helping to refine its visual presentation to better convey its flavours and values.

Brand Philosophy & Background

Thong Kee, a renowned traditional coffee brand in Malaysia, has long been dedicated to preserving and innovating local coffee culture. While staying true to its classic flavours, the brand aims to introduce a more modern and premium visual identity, allowing younger consumers to connect with and appreciate Thong Kee. Our task was to craft a compelling brand visual that not only highlights the craftsmanship behind Thong Kee but also enhances its appeal to a wider audience.

Design Concept & Execution

For this brand enhancement, we recognised that visuals are not just about presentation—they are a powerful medium for evoking emotions and deepening consumer engagement. With this in mind, we meticulously refined the imagery through:

Lighting & Depth – Carefully controlled lighting to enhance the texture and richness of each dish, making the food appear even more tempting and appetising.
Colour Harmony – Integrating warm brand tones to create an inviting yet professional aesthetic, ensuring a cohesive and appealing visual identity.

This visual upgrade not only elevates Thong Kee’s overall brand aesthetic but also strengthens its impact on social media and market visibility.
